The past doesn't define u for the rest of ur life

“My story might had been unique, but I think there are ways to avoid”之类的。

And one of the things we talked about is the three things I found important in the part of my transformation:

The first thing is acknowledgement: I had to acknowledge that I had hurt others and I had been hurt;

The second thing is to apologise: I have to apologise to the people I hurt even though I had no expectations that they may accept it, but it was an important thing to do because it was the right thing. But I also had to apologise to myself.

The third thing was atonement. For me, atonement meant going back to my community...

Our past doesn't define you for the rest of your life. I think collectively we can create this reality, and I hope you do so.
